Optometrist
Dr. Angie Ng completed her undergraduate studies cum laude at UC San Diego with a major in Human Biology and minor in Global Health. She then completed her Doctorate of Optometry degree at the University of California, Berkley School of Optometry. During her time there she was part of the BSK Honor Society, participated in VOSH, an organization that provided eye services to underserved populations in the Philippines, and had internships in community health clinics in the Alameda Health System and VA hospitals such as the San Francisco VA and Fresno VA. After completion of her optometry degree, Dr. Ng pursued a residency in ocular disease at the VA Central California health care system where she developed an interest in managing ocular diseases such as glaucoma, diabetes, and macular degeneration.
As a San Francisco native, Dr. Ng has returned to the Bay Area to practice at ECASF after the completion of her residency. She provides urgent medical care for ocular diseases such as dry eyes, corneal abrasions, infections, and contact lens related problems. She can also perform exams in Cantonese.
In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors and cheering on the Golden State Warriors!
